Barry comes from a family steeped in the history and practice of professional photography. He obtained his Degree in Photography from DIT, then worked with a leading Dublin photographic studio before setting out on his own.

He has taught photography in NCAD, as well as devising photography modules for secondary level schools across Dublin, including Belvedere College, and St Conleths, Ballsbridge.

Icon Photography was established by Barry 10 years ago to offer something new in the world of wedding photography.

He brings enormous experience to, yet maintains a genuine passion for shooting portraits and weddings, both home and abroad.
