The Flying Irish Dance Troupe was founded in 2000 to provide exceptional performance experience for dedicated students at the Flying Irish Studio. The FIDT averages 20-30 shows a year, often performing multiple shows in a single day.FIDT Members are instructed in Irish soft and hard shoe, team dancing and other movement forms such as ballet, yoga and more. The FIDT was founded by its Artistic Director (and team member), Mary-Sarah O'Hanlon. Ms. O'Hanlon has almost 20 years experience performing, teaching and choreographing for dance, theater and the circus.
