After completing her degree in fashion design with the Limerick School of Art & Design in 1993, Linda Wilson continued her studies in 1993-94 with The Crafts Council of Ireland in Kilkenny where she completed a Business and Design Skills course.

Linda worked as the in-house designer for Tyna International in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare for two years. From 1996 to 2000 Linda worked as a Design and Knitwear tutor with the Limerick Senior College as well as researching and reproducing replica period costumes for Limerick Corporation in association with The Hunt Museum.These costumes are now housed at The Hunt Museum in Limerick and are used by the aforementioned as part of their educational programme for schools and colleges.

In April 2000, Linda Wilson Knitwear began operating as a sole trader from Shannon Development's Workspace Business Centre at Michael Street, Limerick.

In January 2003, as well as continuing with her business, Linda returned to college to complete a one-year post-graduate course in Industrial Knit and Business skills to aid in the long term future of her business.

In January 2004 the company relocated to The Tait Business Centre, Dominic Street, Limerick. The company produces a range of high quality, co-ordinating knitwear garments which intermix to create looks for special occasion and daywear. The style is comfortable yet contemporary, distinctive and individual.
