Today Boatshed have over 70 offices around the world in Europe, America and one of the latest being Phuket in Thailand. The company was set up by Husband and wife team Neil and Mandy Chapman back in 1999.

Boatshed.com started as a result of taking a sabbatical in 1998 for 10 months. During the trip they were rolled 360 in Storm 10, involved in a complex salvage claim, then went on to cruise Portugal, Denmark then back to England to their jobs.

They soon decided to set up their own business doing something with boats. Within a couple of months they started a yacht Brokerage company in Milford Haven, set up the Boatshed website and sold 118 boats within the first year.

Using their knowledge of IT, design and customer service they invested heavily in the business systems and advanced computer software to create the Boatshed boat sales system. Along with a team of talented and committed individuals they have continued to develop the Boatshed business. Boatshed.com has now become the largest Yacht Brokerage Company in the World.
